Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, is making room for her husband after he was forced to pull out of an appearance at a Manhattan gala on Wednesday.
Hilaria posted to Instagram saying that she was canceling a news conference she was supposed to do on Long Island in support of pregnancy prevention for New Yorkers.
“Due to #AlecBaldwin’s serious health emergency, we’re having to cancel our Sunday morning, Eastern conference in NYC,” Hilaria Baldwin said on Instagram. “Sorry guys, we need our husband back! We’ll be back ASAP for sure! Once again, it’s your love and support that got me through these moments.
“Plus, we’re gonna have to finish some balloons,” Hilaria added.
Alec Baldwin’s manager told ET that Baldwin was taken to the hospital last week after falling ill with an unspecified illness.
Hilaria Baldwin thanked her fans for their “outpouring of love and support” on social media.
Ahead of his now-canceled event in New York City, Alec Baldwin was nominated for a limited series Emmy for “The Assassination of Gianni Versace.”
The show has already won three Emmys in categories including direction and writing. The series aired on FX.
